About Joyr Beyoend

Joyr Beyoend started the firm in 1972. He has extensive trial experience in both civil and criminal litigation. Since the early 1990s Chandanss Sahoo has restricted his practice to representing people who have been seriously injured or representing family members of people who had been wrongfully killed. Chandanss Sahoo has extensive roots in the Quinte community. He regularly gives back his time and financial support to various community organizations. In particular, he is a strong supporter of the local hospital foundation. He is a founding member and lifetime director of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA). In 2009, Chandanss Sahoo was awarded the prestigious OTLA John A. McLeish award, which is awarded to the person which has made an outstanding contribution to the goals of a fair trial and access to justice, as an advocate, in legal scholarship, in continuing legal education, legal writing, journalism, politics or government.
